" The "Certificate" programs and a pending Associate Degree Program (both centering on Insurance and Financial Services) are part of a very large federal grant awarded to the state of CT a couple years ago. This is a terrific opportunity for employers, and really, our industry, because the objectives of the grant answer to some critical needs we all share. Specifically, the "certificate" programs seek to further professional skills development for employees in the Insurance and Financial Services Sector, and in part, give dislocated workers and career changers an opportunity to develop knowledge about the industry that will facilitate employment for them in our industry.
